Is that possible to port HNA into Dota 2? Does someone know anything about that? Smile

It would be just new map. So you have to take care of textures, hero models, abilities views, etc. H&A basically has standard WC3 models, I guess DotA has sufficiently different ones. You have to find highly motivated people for such work. And I'm afraid there are no such people here  Very Happy

You would had to start from scratch probably.

Then again, this was possible since years on StarCraft 2 (almost same editor as War3 but more powerfull and new graphics) but this time you had to import more tileset, heroes models and so on.
And since maybe 9 months now, arcade games (= any map hosted like on War3 is free to play, for all). So it would had be possible to "port" an Heroes and Armies there. I always saw Legion TD, Orc vs Elves, element TD and so many map that were on WarCraft III that people re-done.

I guess main problem for SC2 is that thet game requires more ressources than WarCraft 3. Same for DotA 2 i guess.
It's funny that i see this topic, i "started" DotA 2 yesterday. Played some game, had good fun and i saw this on the Valve forum that you could make custom maps. Seems nice too.

To be honest, main problem with HnA is that we lack of players... so we lack of map developers (map didn't changed in a year i think). And port it alone, on DotA 2 or StarCraft 2 would be too much work.

But, if someone, start something, i will help all the way i can.
