for me the dl is the must have hero in teamplay

sleep in himself is nt powerful, but u can surround so easy that it can make crasy ennemies,

swarm is rly powerfull to kill creep or on intel heroes

aura , i need to explain with some agi??

and ulti maybe the best stun

i dont think sleep can be change but it kick ass^^

sleep + inferno is very overpowered desperate (thats why i rate him ++)
rest of him seems to be ok: swarm good dmg, aura loosing range if u skill it higher (600? range on lvl1, and around 400-450range in lvl10)

the only solution how to fix this: give him web/net (like archangels net), ppl cant move in web, but they can use antimagic to stop inferno...
(the web of the UD crypt fiends, but changed that it can be done on ground units)

hehe, sometimes sleep is good to protect from different spells, played a game the other days, there were 2 noobs one dl and one tc, and constantly the dl was sleeping heroes just in time to cancel tc's shockwave or stomp Smile))))

but yes, making sleep cancellable by potions would be good, but maybe give the sleep some damage like entangle roots has?

I think if you made it too hard for him to use infernal he would become a -- hero for me. Apart from infernal he doesn't have much, he can creep a bit with carrion but its not particularly good against heroes, he has low hp for a strength hero and no easy way of escaping, if hes attacked by 2 or more heroes he can be dead really easily. Also lets face it, his aura makes very little difference unless you max it.

back to topic i think dotn change sleep splee, only make the sleeping heroes vulnerable, cuz atm u cant attack them for 2-3 sec when they sleep

Way to OP hero.

First skill, the wave thing = Good against creeps and good vs heroes in early/mid game.

Sleep = Perfect to stop for example Kotg's heal or some other channeling spell, and is op combined with his ulti.

Aura = Really super crazy in late game, you hit fast, you have A LOT of hp, and gets LOADS of life that way.

Ulti = sdkjfgbydsfdsufgjl! = Over powerd, it does damage, 5 SEC STUN WHEN MAXED!!! And it give you a big infernal
that blocks the offer in and also it help with its chaos damage.

i was thinking about that too, maybe heroes who are sleeping are invulnerable as long as they sleep???
cus even with reducing the damage-impact of the inferno, the drealord is still imba as wicked shit.....

so you cant use the combo sleep-inferno anymore, but he still has the sleep for stopping enemy (maybe sleep is more usefull then, cus others cant wake up the sleeping hero and u skill sleep higher then lvl1 .... maybe^^ [sleep duration: lvl1 4sec, lvl2 5sec....lvl10 13sec]) and inferno...hmm not as easy as it is at the moment to stun enemies, but still possible when they are fighting, stuck, shackled(?) and stunned and also a bit more skill needed to stun someone then with inferno
(i realy hate it if i see a noob dreadlord, (almost) dieing non-stop (at start) and then using sleep-inferno-combo and kills you -.-)

This wud make sleep sooooo crap and also make sleep really annoying because you can be there sleeping for 15 seconds or something unable to move... and sleep cd is so long you could easily keep a hero disabled for a whole game this way... May also be super op if you sleep someone and then push creeps down, they will be surrounded as soon as they wake. Just make the dreadlord have to get melle range in order to use sleep and it will be sorted imo.

Anyway about the ulti we should take away the stun, and even if that is nerfed its still very good.

Maybe make it half time and then reduce damage on it also?

But for Dreadlord it wouldnt be too much of a nerf to delete stun completely since he already Sleep, which is sort of a stun.

No way, if you make it very hard to sleep people then it will be balanced.

Maybe then yes, but as it is now, its super easy to sleep people.

since sleep is short ranged(if too short lvl it up to 3-4^^) and ulti is bit lower(some vers ago..) dl is rly balanced -> O

and to "compared to mk bolt" yep, but this doesnt mean to change dl sleep, it means that u should change mk bold(/beastie bolt)...failed topic anyway

sleep

Post  Deathlord on Wed Oct 20, 2010 8:50 am

sleep is too easy ... u can play from 3 miles when lvl is near 9-10 !!!
then all heroes come and do their combo...

it can be better with a shorter distance for launching this spell.

same for mk and beastie stun
and you can easily be woken up by a mate before the horde team reaches you

/agreed its annoying

but its no bug imo, I guess just like the phoenix it was created so that units don't autoattack the sleeping hero

as say xionidas not so easily to be wake up ... and its not really like mk stun. end of stun mk u can escape if teamplayers are late for focus. before end of sleep dreadlord can play is ulti and stun u. difference is that team has more time and can create units and block u then. its like if mk have another half stun for kill u... against a good team u have no chance with an int hero...

Mate ! That's why i Lole him. Very Happy He is one big comobo in one hero Very Happy I mean Sleep -> Stun - > Wave + atack with inferno makeing him really nice hero but you need to know that at Horde side he is a guy with the lowest Str so he need to creep really a lot at beginning. So yes his combo can kill some Int hero but its team play game and it realy depends on plyers and another heros too Razz
