Priestess of the Moon By Hunter86

Post  Hunter86 on Mon Mar 15, 2010 10:06 am

Hello.
I will start that she is my favourite heroine. Very fast, with high damage, and high defense. In early game she is vulnerable against stunners, because of not much hp, but in mid and late game she is imo most dangerous and deadly ranged hero. Her best feature is that she is agility based.
This is my way of playing her.

At the very beginning I invest skill points in flaming arrows and aura (sometimes also ulti but it largely depends on how many stunners enemies have).
I buy her mask of sobia and teleport at start. Later shoes, 2x gloves of speed and another sobia. After that I consume medallion and buy a ring of regen(to last longer on the battlefield).
So I play her till 15. lvl. She is creeping well and she is also a threat to enemy heroes, because of damage.
Now my equipment is:
2x sobias, 2x gloves of speed, shoes, ring.

After reaching 15. lvl I sell both sobias and buy one orb*, gloves of speed, and a book of changing skills (forgot exact name). I invest all skill points in aura, "yellow cross" and ulti.
I very often also change gloves of speed to gloves with +14 attack. I buy only agi tomes. I play her without stress till 25. lvl, killing lot of heroes and creeps. After reaching 25. lvl, with agi about 150, I do -fight, and switch gloves +14 attack to the sword.
Now equipment is:
(usually) lightning orb, shoes, ring, 2x gloves of speed, sword.

*Which orb I choose, depends on summoner in horde - if there is at least one, I buy a lightning orb, it deals great against minions and bats, and with good attack speed it very often slow enemies better than ice orb.

I hope you will understand and like this guide. I tried to make no errors/mistakes while writing it.
I wait for your opinions and feedback

Edit: Just seen another guide for that hero (POTM by blufonci), so mine can be trated as another way of developing her, or as a supplement

cant agree with 2sobis^^, 1is more than enough cuz potm gets enough int all in all
also i cant see why u need 2gloves, 1should be enough, better go for claws(much more dmg and cuz of agi hero u wont need 2gloves in latergame anyway)
ring is ok cuz i hate to be focused by dk coil or some other shit like this Razz
and in my opinion it should be early enough to switch with about 120agi to an orb, because +56dmg are rly nice till this time...for usual i use slow orb then btw(or purge if there are a lot of am users)..ofc reskill to aura+stats+ulti(if needed more than lvl1)

I disagree, i think 1 sobi and level 1 ulti are both very useful for creeping. Ring however - nah... it wont really save you if they have mass stunners etc. your best hope is to take a speed potion or even a shield would be more useful than a ring imo and claws > gloves in early game for potm.

Neither will really save you from mass stun... but sheild is 300 less gold so you can buy it earlier.

not bad for lame boring tactic..
need add next, need 5 clowes and 1 boots, and just atack units, for 1 hour(+-) for you there are no heroes, just steal creep your m8's
f love this tactic..
btw, hero not have skill's
For potm:you need orb, need ring, need shoes, need TP, and 2 slots need looked who play vs you...
(spam)With new q-w-e-r have mass missclic, for start in hna later in ladders ofc, fuuu

Shield for agi hero?? where with 200 agi u have defense like 80 (which stops 77% of dmg) or sth. I personally go for speed. I also like the idea of claws instead of gloves. From my experience ring saved my life a lot of times (if u r escaping from ice orb u can survive 2-3 extra hits).

personaly for me blufonci's guide is better , potm is one of my favourite hero how u can see in forum pic
on start i am selling ankh and buy 1 gloves of speed go creeping till i reach 1250 gold and buying boots & claws +15 atk u wrote +14 u should edit skilling ofc arrows and aura sometimes ulti if enemy are noobs and feeding us with mass units .
So now i have medalion, boots ,gloves of speed ,1 claws (4 items) when i have enough gold i am buying next 2x claws it gaves me + 45 aditional dmg, when i reach more gold i am using medalion and buying next claws and later change gloves of speed to next claws so i have 1 boots and 5 x claws ( +75 dmg) i am reskilling on lvl forgot which but when i can skill lvl 4 ulti on lvl 15 if I good remeber i cant . After reskill i go in lvl 10 aura and spend 4 skill for ulti (rest to stats of course) if opponents have bm I skill owl. Also after re skill i change 1 claws to frost orb (maybe slow orb late game)
I am dont agree with sobi masks cause potm have good int . I am dont using tp cause i go into dmg but if other way have problems or need me to kill anyone i change 1 claws to tp. After fight my equiment is 1 sword , 1 boots , 1 orb , 1 tp , 1 claws , 1 antymagic potion.
5 claws on start game make me a good creeper sometimes better than archmage and his blizard when i have him in team, so i have much gold and good agi i also sometimes buy 1-2 books + 250 hp.

Sorry its not clear but its the way i usually play potm, sorry for my english .

Maybe I'm playing against not very demanding enemies, but most often I need to come to the fountain to regen mana, not health, that's why I use masks till 15. lvl.

Sorry for little off-topic, but is there any limit of attack speed in h&a?? I mean can i attack faster with lets say 500 agi and 5 gloves (where each gloves speeds my attack speed) or you can't go beyond some limits (e.g. with 200 agi u have fastest attack speed in game and gloves give u nothing)??

I see that u probably didn't understand my question (mentioned 500 agi was just imaginary example). I was asking is there some kind of limit of attack speed. That for instance when u got 200 agi u don't need gloves of speed, because u have maximum attack speed (with 200 agi) and u can't go beyond that. Just wanted to know if such limitation exists in game.
